“Over My Head” and “FRIENDS” officially enter the Top 40 at hot adult contemporary.

Echosmith’s “Over My Head” and Marshmello & Anne-Marie’s “FRIENDS” debut on this week’s edition of the Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart.

“Over My Head,” which was below last week’s chart at #46, enters the format’s Top 40 at #37. “FRIENDS” concurrently rises four places to #40.

“Over My Head” received 314 spins during the March 25-31 tracking period. The count tops last week’s mark by 133 spins.

“FRIENDS” posted a tracking period play count of 260. The figure reflects a week-over-week gain of 66.

— “Over My Head” is also gaining traction (but not yet charting) at pop radio. “FRIENDS” is in the Top 15 at pop radio and just outside the Top 30 at rhythmic.
