Making good on Headline Planet’s projection, Bruno Mars & Cardi B’s multi-format hit “Finesse” reaches #1 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio chart.

Up two places, “Finesse” earns #1 on the strength of its ~16,423 tracking period plays. This week’s count tops last week’s mark by 1,209 spins.

Pop is the second radio format at which “Finesse” has hit #1. It reached the pinnacle of the rhythmic radio chart earlier this year.

“Finesse” seizes the pop throne from G-Eazy & Halsey’s “Him & I,” which spent the past two weeks at #1.

Played ~15,450 times during the March 18-24 tracking period (+2,117), Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle” rises three spots to #2 on this week’s chart. The week-over-week gain of 2,117 plays represents the pop format’s largest increase.

The aforementioned “Him & I” falls two places to #3 with ~15,236 spins (-796), while NF’s “Let You Down” drops two spots to #4 with ~14,235 (-1,279).

Up one spot, Bebe Rexha’s “Meant To Be (featuring Florida Georgia Line)” earns #5. The hit collaboration received ~13,253 spins (+828).
