AJR & Rivers Cuomo’s “Sober Up” Reaches #1 At Alternative Radio

AJR’s “Sober Up (featuring Rivers Cuomo)” edges Imagine Dragons’ “Whatever It Takes” for #1 on this week’s Mediabase alternative radio airplay chart.

Up one place from last week’s position, “Sober Up” takes #1 on the strength of its 3,303 tracking period spins (+317).

“Sober Up” becomes AJR’s first #1 at alternative radio.

The aforementioned “Whatever It Takes,” which was #3 last week, takes #2 on this week’s listing. It received 3,255 plays during the February 25-March 3 tracking period (+324).

Credited with 3,085 spins (+172), Portugal. The Man’s “Live In The Moment” rises two spots to #3.

Down three places, Alice Merton’s “No Roots” settles for #4. The single received 2,852 spins (-264).

Played 2,705 times during the tracking period (-223), Walk The Moon’s “One Foot” drops one spot to #5.
