Following its first full week in the market, Marshmello & Anne-Marie’s “FRIENDS” earns a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The song takes #72 on the all-genre listing, which serves as a ranking of America’s hottest songs.

The Hot 100 ranks songs based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay. “FRIENDS” posted a solid first-week numbers in all three columns.

It is showing particular promise at pop radio, where it blasted into the Top 50 this past week. It is a virtual lock to crack the Top 40 this coming week.

In addition to that extra airplay, next week’s Hot 100 chart will account for streams on the newly released music video.
