Alice Merton’s “No Roots” Officially Reaches #1 At Alternative Radio

“No Roots” reaches the pinnacle position on this week’s alternative airplay chart.

Making good on Headline Planet’s projection, Alice Merton’s “No Roots” climbs to #1 on this week’s Mediabase alternative radio chart.

Up one place, “No Roots” seizes the throne from Walk The Moon’s “One Foot.” That song, which drops to #2 this week, spent the past four weeks atop the chart.

“No Roots” received ~3,211 spins during the February 11-17 tracking week. The format-leading count tops last week’s mark by 123 spins.

“One Foot” received ~3,081 plays (-116).

Played ~2,926 times during the tracking period (+51), AJR’s “Sober Up (featuring Rivers Cuomo)” holds at #3.

Portugal. The Man’s “Live In The Moment” rises one place to #4 with ~2,735 spins (+99), while a spin count of ~2,619 (-27) brings Foster The People’s “Sit Next To Me” down one spot to #5.
