Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” Officially Reaches #1 At US Pop Radio

Earlier this week, Headline Planet noted that Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” was in contention for #1 on this week’s Mediabase US pop radio airplay chart.

The song indeed rises to #1.

Up two places from last week’s position, “New Rules” seizes the throne from Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.”

“New Rules,” which is Dua Lipa’s first #1 at US pop radio, received a format-leading ~18,602 spins during the January 21-27 tracking period. This week’s count tops last week’s mark by 1,046 spins.

The aforementioned “Perfect” falls to #2 after spending two weeks in the pinnacle position. It received ~18,338 tracking week plays (-547).

Halsey’s “Bad At Love” slips one place to #3 with ~17,079 (-589), while Camila Cabello’s “Havana (featuring Young Thug)” holds at #4 with ~15,615 (-1,243).

Played ~13,543 times this week (+14), Post Malone’s “rockstar (featuring 21 Savage)” holds at #5.
