“Descendants 2” Song “Ways To Be Wicked” Earns Gold Certification In United States

Another song from the “Descendants 2” soundtrack has received a certification from the RIAA.

This past November, China Anne McClain’s “Descendants 2” song “What’s My Name” received a gold certification in the United States.

This past week, another song from the hit soundtrack earned such a certification.

According to the RIAA, “Ways To Be Wicked” officially went gold on December 13, 2017.

The certification confirms 500,000 in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Positioned as a theme song of sorts for the TV movie, “Ways To Be Wicked” is credited to principals Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart and Cameron Boyce.

They also share a gold song certification for original “Descendants” theme song “Rotten To The Core.”
