Last week, Niall Horan’s “Too Much To Ask” improved to #41 at pop radio.

This week, it moves comfortably into the Top 40.

Played 1,736 times during the October 15-21 tracking period (+840), the new “Flicker” single earns #33 on this week’s Mediabase pop chart.

“I Like Me Better” also enters the Top 40 this week.

Up three places, it earns #39 on the strength of its 951 tracking period plays (+189).

— “Too Much To Ask” is the follow-up to Horan’s “Slow Hands,” which reached #1 at pop radio. He previously had a Top 15 hit in “This Town” (and, of course, several chart entries as part of One Direction).

“I Like Me Better” is Lauv’s first song to reach the Top 40.
