Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” and Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still” are locked in a tight race for #1 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

“Sorry Not Sorry” received 10,978 spins during the first five days of the October 15-21 tracking week. Up 17.8% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Sorry Not Sorry” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

“Feel It Still” is a very close #2 on the building chart. It received 10,843 spins during the aforementioned five-day window, besting the same-time-last-week mark by 6.2%.

While “Sorry Not Sorry” has the current lead in spins and momentum, “Feel It Still” is still within striking distance of the top spot. This race definitely could come down to the wire.

The new #1 song will be seizing the throne from Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do.” That song, which soared to #1 last week, will crash to #6 this week.

The official chart will be published Sunday.
