MTV’s “Siesta Key” Returns With New Episodes In Early 2018

Monday’s “Siesta Key” was not a series finale.

Monday’s “Siesta Key” marked the show’s last episode of 2017 — but it will not mark the last episode ever.

MTV confirms that it has ordered more episodes of the reality series.

Said episodes will begin airing in the early part of 2018.

“Siesta Key” was certainly not the next “Jersey Shore” in terms of ratings or pop culture buzz; no episode even reached 700,000 live+same-day viewers.

It did, however, establish a core audience by the middle of its summer run. It also fared decently (by modern ratings standards at least) in key youth and young adult demographics.
