Taylor Swift Crosses 100 Million In US Digital Single Units

She joins Rihanna as the second artist to achieve the feat.

Two Taylor Swift songs just received new US digital single certifications from the RIAA.

“Shake It Off” was upgraded to 9x platinum on June 8, 2017, while “State Of Grace” concurrently earned a gold award.

Significant in their own right, the certifications also yield a very noteworthy career milestone for Taylor Swift.

They bring her total number of RIAA-certified US digital single units to 101 million.

Swift is just the second artist to cross the 100 million unit mark. Rihanna, the first to achieve the feat, currently boasts a certified unit total of 118.5 million.

As of June 8, 2017, these are the leaders in US Digital Single Certifications:

1) Rihanna – 118.5 million
2) Taylor Swift – 101 million
3) Katy Perry – 88 million
4) Justin Bieber – 63 million
5) Lady Gaga – 60 million
