Halsey’s “hopeless fountain kingdom” launched on the US iTunes store late Thursday night — just as scheduled.

It received a very warm reception from music consumers — just as expected.

As of 12:40AM ET, the album is #1 on the store’s all-genre album sales chart.

New releases actually occupy the entire Top 5. Luke Combs’ debut album “This One’s For You” follows at #2, while alt-J’s “RELAXER” is #3. All Time Low’s new “Last Young Renegade” and the newly released “Steven Universe, Vol. 1” soundtrack hold the #4 and #5 positions, respectively.

Bryson Tiller’s “True To Self” (#6), the re-issue of The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” (#7), Wheeler Walker, Jr’s new “Ol’ Wheeler” (#8), Bleachers’ “Gone Now” (#9) and “Vol. 2: Guardians Of The Galaxy, Awesome Mix, Vol. 2” (#10) complete the Top 10.
