“Hamilton” Cast Recording Album Certified 3x Platinum In United States

The smash hit cast recording album for the smash hit “Hamilton: An American Musical” has earned a new multi-platinum certification in the United States.

According to the RIAA, the album received the honor on February 24, 2017.

The award confirms 3 million in US album units. The units are equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

The album, which peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200, won a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album.
