Ratings: “This Is Us” Drops From Last Episode, Still Wins Tuesday Night

This Is Us [NBC]

Off last week, NBC’s breakout hit “This Is Us” returned with an original Tuesday night.

The episode was down in the key adults 18-49 demographic (it also narrowly fell in total viewership).

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s “This Is Us” drew a 2.5 adults 18-49 rating and 9.54 million total viewers. The previous episode drew a 2.8 rating and 9.63 million.

While not as strong as the last episode, “This Is Us” was still strong from a competitive standpoint. It was Tuesday’s #1 show in adults 18-49 and the night’s #3 show in total viewership.

NBC led into “This Is Us” with “The Wall” (1.4 adults 18-49 rating, 6.04 million viewers) and closed its evening with “Chicago Fire” (1.5, 6.78 million).
