Katy Perry’s “Chained To The Rhythm” is set to launch in a major way.

The new single will receive the coveted hourly/”on the hour” first day airplay support from a myriad of pop radio stations, including most — if not all — iHeart channels.

For those unfamiliar with the concept: numerous pop stations will play “Chained To The Rhythm” at least once per hour on Friday.

Similar support recently helped Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” and The Chainsmokers’ “Paris” make huge debuts on the official Mediabase airplay chart.

Perry will then support the song with a performance at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards.

“Chained To The Rhythm” jumpstarts Perry’s fourth album cycle. It is her first lead single release since the August 2013 debut of “Roar.”
