Julia Michaels’ “Issues” Reaches Top 40 On US iTunes Sales Chart

As it gains traction at mainstream radio, Julia Michaels’ “Issues” is climbing the US iTunes sales chart.

“Issues” returned to the Top 50 mid-day Tuesday. By 1:45AM ET Wednesday, it was up to a new peak of #40 on the listing.

Given that “Issues” is not discounted, not prominently featured on the iTunes store front and not currently benefiting from viral social media exposure (in the vein of the Selena Gomez Instagram post that gave it a boost in its first weekend), the iTunes gain appears to be a organic response to its growth at radio.

“Issues” is trending Top 30 at pop radio and Top 40 at the hot adult contemporary format.
