The scope of ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” continues to expand.
In addition to the previously confirmed New York, Hollywood, Las Vegas and New Orleans feeds, this year’s special will include an international performance.
Music star Demi Lovato will perform from St. Maarten.
The performance will come from the Celebrity Cruises concert Lovato is headlining that night.
“This is a momentous occasion for Celebrity Cruises as this is the first time four ships will be docked in one port for a unique musical event, our first holiday concert and our first time on ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2017,’” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO, Celebrity Cruises. “Celebrating New Year’s with Demi Lovato in St. Maarten, alongside thousands of our guests and her fans, will make for an event they won’t soon forget and we are excited to share this milestone moment with those celebrating at home.”
