Ratings: “SNL” Rises To Season High For Tom Hanks, Lady Gaga Episode

Featuring host Tom Hanks and musical guest Lady Gaga, this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” posted season high overnight ratings.

Citing metered market data, NBC notes that Saturday’s “SNL” drew a 6.1 overnight household rating. It posted a 3.0 adults 18-49 rating in the 25 markets with local people meters.

The numbers markedly top the 5.0 overnight household rating and 2.3 adults 18-49 rating drawn by last week’s Emily Blunt-Bruno Mars broadcast.

They also rank as the best October “SNL” numbers since the 10/25/08 edition (host Jon Hamm, musical guest Coldplay) drew a 7.1 household rating and a 4.0 LPM adults 18-49 rating.

Off next week, “SNL” returns with an original on November 5. Benedict Cumberbatch will host, while Solange will perform as the musical guest.
