Brad Paisley’s “Today” Ranks As Country Radio’s Most Added Song

Brad Paisley’s new “Today” predictably received a warm welcome at country radio.

Paisley’s new single was picked up by 66 Mediabase-monitored station in conjunction with this week’s official impact. The count earns “Today” the top spot on the weekly add board.

Thomas Rhett’s “Star Of The Show,” which topped last week’s add board, takes second this week. It was added by another 50 country stations.

Blake Shelton’s “A Guy With A Girl” lands in third place with 44 new adds, while an add count of 43 positions Kelsea Ballerini’s “Yeah Boy” as fourth-most added.

Credited with 29 weekly adds, Drew Baldridge’s “Rebound (featuring Emily Weisband)” ranks as fifth-most added.

This week’s other notable country radio options: Love And Theft’s “Candyland” (21 adds, 6th-most), Ryan Follese’s “Put A Label On It” (11 adds, 7th), Eric Church’s “Kill A Word (featuring Rhiannon Giddens)” (8 adds, 8th), Chris Lane’s “For Her” (6 adds, 9th, tie), Dan + Shay’s “How Not To” (6 adds, 9th, tie), and Jennifer Nettles’ “Hey Heartbreak” (6 adds, 9th, tie).
