Bon Iver’s “22, A Million” Pacing To Win US Album Sales Race, Solange #2

Bon Iver [NBC]

Not simply the best-performing newcomer, Bon Iver’s “22, A Million” is on track to comfortably claim #1 on the Top Album Sales chart.

It is also the frontrunner for #1 on the Billboard 200 consumption chart, but it will face closer competition in that regard than it will in pure sales.

According to Hits Daily Double, “22, A Million” should sell 49-53,000 pure US copies during the September 30-October 6 tracking week. The closest competition will come from Solange’s “A Seat At The Table,” which is on track to sell 34-38,000 pure albums.

With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, “22, A Million” should generate 54-58,000 in weekly consumption units.

Solange’s album (~47-51,000) and Drake’s “Views” are on pace to land narrowly behind.
