Rihanna’s “Love On The Brain” Receiving Early Pop Airplay In Omaha, Grand Rapids

While it impacted rhythmic and urban radio this week, Rihanna’s “Love On The Brain” does not officially go for pop adds until October 11.

Unwilling to wait until then, several pop stations are already playing the song.

According to Mediabase, Omaha’s Channel 94.1 played the song 22 times between September 22-28.

Grand Rapids’ 105.3 Hot FM provided 15 spins within that window, while Visalia’s Hitz 104.9 offered 7 plays.

Other early supporters include Montgomery’s Y102, New Orleans’ B97, and Albuquerque’s 93.3 KOB.

“Love On The Brain” is the follow-up to Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” which reached #1 at rhythmic and urban radio and peaked inside the Top 15 at pop.
