Jake Owen’s “American Country Love Song” is officially the top song at American country radio.

Up two places, Owen’s single earns #1 on this week’s Mediabase country radio singles chart. It seizes the throne from Sam Hunt’s “Make You Miss Me,” which slips to #3 after a single week on top.

“American Country Love Song” is Jake Owen’s sixth career country radio #1 and his first since 2014’s “Beachin’.”

Not simply the leader in Mediabase chart points, “American Country Love Song” ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most played and most heard song for the August 28-September 3 tracking period. It received ~8,815 weekly spins (+778) and ~59.673 million weekly audience impressions.

Positioned between “American Country Love Song” and “Make You Miss Me” is Kelsea Ballerini’s “Peter Pan,” which holds at #2. Dierks Bentley’s “Different For Girls (featuring Elle King)” rises one spot to #4, while Justin Moore’s “You Look Like I Need A Drink” climbs one place to #5.
