Ratings: “The Night Of” Soars To Another High, “Ballers,” “Vice Principals” Also Up

Sunday’s “The Night Of” enjoyed big gains — and set new series high marks — in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

It kicked off a night full of increases for HBO; “Ballers,” “Vice Principals,” and “Last Week Tonight” also posted gains.

According to live+same-day data, Sunday’s penultimate installment of “The Night Of” drew a 0.69 adults 18-49 rating and 1.76 million total viewers. Up from the 0.54/1.41 million drawn last week, this week’s figures easily represent the best marks yet for HBO’s limited series.

“Ballers” followed with a 0.64 demo rating and 1.32 million viewers, besting the 0.57 and 1.210 million drawn by the previous broadcast.

10:30PM comedy “Vice Principals” drew a 0.41 and 0.85 million viewers (up from a 0.39 and 0.82 million last week), and “Last Week Tonight” concluded HBO’s lineup of Sunday originals with a 0.45 and 1.15 million audience members (up from last week’s 0.38 and 0.97 million).
