Charlie Puth & Selena Gomez’ “We Don’t Talk Anymore” Reaches Top 5 On US iTunes Sales Chart

Charlie Puth [Vince Bucci | FOX]

The potent combination of solid mainstream radio exposure and a discounted price point has thrust another song into the Top 5 on the US iTunes single sales chart.

The latest beneficiary is Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore (featuring Selena Gomez).” The song is #5 as of 11:50PM ET.

Only The Chainsmokers’ #1 “Closer,” twenty one pilots’ #2 “Heathens,” Shawn Mendes’ #3 “Treat You Better,” and Major Lazer’s #4 “Cold Water” are selling at a faster pace.

Mendes’ single is also positioned solidly at pop and hot adult contemporary radio — and also available for only $0.69 on the iTunes store.

“We Don’t Talk Anymore” is currently #8 on Mediabase’s hot adult contemporary airplay chart and #13 on the official pop listing.
