The Chainsmokers & Halsey’s “Closer” Remains #1 On Weekly US Spotify Chart

The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” again claims the top spot on the weekly US Spotify chart.

Quickly solidifying itself as a smash, “Closer” received 11.502 million US streams during the August 12-18 tracking week. Up from the 9.813 million figure posted last week, the tally tops that of this week’s #2 song by nearly 2.5 million.

Major Lazer’s “Cold Water (featuring Justin Bieber & MØ),” again that #2 song, drove 9.024 million US streams during the official tracking week.

Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” holds at #3 with 7.955 million, while twenty one pilots’ “Heathens” (7.930 million) and Drake’s “Too Good (featuring Rihanna)” (7.078 million) respectively remain #4 and #5.
