The Chainsmokers & Halsey’s “Closer” Reaches #54 At Pop Radio

Despite not arriving until the sixth day of the July 24-30 tracking week, The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” received a healthy amount of pop radio airplay.

The airplay officially positions “Closer” as the Mediabase pop panel’s #54 song.

The eagerly awaited new single received 363 spins within the confines of the official tracking period. A total of sixty three stations contributed to that spin count.

“Closer” is the follow-up to The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya),” which spent three weeks at #1 and still holds a Top 5 position at pop.

It officially impacts pop radio this Tuesday.

“Closer” also goes for rhythmic radio adds on Tuesday. It received 68 rhythmic spins during the July 24-30 tracking period.
