Kenny Chesney & P!nk’s “Setting The World On Fire” Makes Country Radio Premiere At 5PM ET On 7/28

In the announcement confirming that Kenny Chesney’s new album was delayed until October, Columbia Nashville noted that a duet with P!nk was being added to the track list.

Friday, the label confirmed that the duet will serve as Chesney’s next radio single.

Entitled “Setting The World On Fire,” the song will premiere at country radio at 5PM ET/4PM CT on July 28.

“You can’t conjure a song that captures that feeling of being on the brink like this does,” says Chesney. “The lyrics are a perfect way of saying it, but when you feel that melody rise, the arrangement picking up momentum – it’s bigger than you are, and all you want to do is throw yourself against the night. Then when P!NK comes in, well, that just brings this (song) to life.”

Now entitled “Cosmic Hallelujah,” Chesney’s forthcoming studio album arrives on October 28.
