Weathers’ new “Happy Pills” blasts into the Top 40 on this week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart. Despite a decline in weekly airplay, Chevelle’s Top 5 active rock hit “Joyride” also earns a Top 40 position on the alt chart.

Spun 255 times during the July 10-16 tracking week (+182), “Happy Pills” grabs #34 on this week’s listing. It was last week’s #62 song at the alternative format.

The Top 40 entry comes following the song’s July 12 alternative radio impact. “Happy Pills” easily ranked as the week’s most added song.

Up one place, “Joyride” earns #40. The song received 196 weekly spins (-13).
