The Strumbellas’ new album “Hope” will be available late Thursday night/early Friday morning in accordance with its April 22 street date.

In support of the new release, the Canadian band performs on Thursday night’s “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

The performance comes as the band enjoys its breakthrough at US radio. “Spirits,” the lead single from “Hope,” was #2 on this past week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart and #4 at the Triple A format. It is working toward the Top 40 at hot adult contemporary.

Taped in the afternoon, Thursday’s “Colbert” also features interviews with Tom Hanks and Leslie Odom, Jr. It airs at 11:35PM ET on CBS.
