While not owned by iHeartMedia — and thus not part of the “on the hour” launch day airplay campaign — Chicago’s B96 has still communicated its support for Nick Jonas’ new single “Close (featuring Tove Lo).”
It played the song 10 times during its first three days of release.
It also added the song to its official playlist. B96 confirmed the pickup Monday.
Given the instant support it received, “Close” has a good chance at claiming pop radio’s most added honor in conjunction with this week’s official impact. The add board closes Tuesday afternoon; look for Headline Planet’s report at around 7PM ET Tuesday night.
