Update: The 1975 celebrated the release of new album “I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It” by performing radio single “The Sound” on Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The 1975’s sophomore album “I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It” carries an official release date of February 26. It will make its digital US debut late Thursday night.

To promote and celebrate the new release, the British band performs single “The Sound” on Thursday night’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The performance, which marks the band’s debut on “Fallon,” comes following segments with Gerard Butler and Jenny Slate.

Taped Thursday afternoon, the episode airs at 11:35PM ET. The band’s performance will likely air at around 12:25AM ET.
