Ratings: FX’s “Baskets” Suffers Another Live+SD Decline

From a live+same-day standpoint, Thursday’s “Baskets” suffered episode-to-episode declines in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

The critically acclaimed — but undoubtedly niche — comedy drew a 0.27 adults 18-49 rating and 625,000 live+same-day viewers for this week’s installment. This was the third “Baskets” installment.

Last week’s episode posted a 0.35 adults 18-49 rating and 658,000 viewers, numbers that trailed the 0.46 and 1.035 million drawn by the series premiere.

While this week’s episode faced competition from the Democratic presidential debate, the numbers pale in comparison to those of the Republican debate that challenged last week’s “Baskets.”

Modest thus far from a live+same-day standpoint, “Baskets” has demonstrated encouraging early support from DVR/time-shifting users.
