Spun 10,008 times during the first five days of the January 10-16 tracking week (+13.0%), “In The Night” is up to #4 on Mediabase’s building airplay chart.
Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” follows at #5 on the building chart. It received 9,720 plays during the tracking week’s first five days, besting last week’s count by 35.0%.
Absent urgent competition from below, the two songs are in no danger of losing their Top 5 positions as the week concludes. The only question is whether “Love Yourself” has enough steam to leapfrog “In The Night” before the chart goes final.
“In The Night” was #6 on last week’s official Mediabase pop airplay chart; “Love Yourself,” making its inaugural Top 10 appearance, was #8.
Upon reaching the top five, “Love Yourself” will mark Bieber’s second representative within the region. His “Sorry” is #2 on the building chart and in no danger of leaving the Top 5 this week.
