Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love” Set To Retain #1 at Pop Radio

Selena Gomez [ABC]

Barring a highly unlikely late-week collapse, Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love” will earn a second week atop the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Gomez’ single received 13,256 pop spins during the first five days of the January 10-16 tracking week. Up 0.2% from the spin count at this point last week, the tally keeps “Same Old Love” situated at #1 on Mediabase’s building airplay chart.

With Justin Bieber’s building #2 “Sorry” decelerating (12,738 spins so far, -3.8%) and Alessia Cara’s building #3 “Here” too distantly separated (12,316, +6.3%), the “Same Old Love” position is not under fire.

“Same Old Love” last week became Gomez’ third career #1 on the official Mediabase pop radio airplay chart. If it holds the position this week, it will become her second multi-week #1.
