Hot adult contemporary radio programmers are predictably embracing Adele’s “When We Were Young.”

Added by 19 Mediabase-monitored Hot AC stations this week, the second “25” single ranks as the format’s most-added song.

The follow-up to Adele’s chart-topping smash “Hello,” “When We Were Young” reached the Top 40 on this past week’s airplay chart. The new wave of support will allow it to continue its ascent.

With 13 pickups each, Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” and Selena Gomez’ “Same Old Love” tie for second-most-added. Twenty One Pilots’ “Stressed Out” follows with 9 monitored adds, while Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away” and The Band Perry’s “Live Forever” share fifth-most-added honors. The songs each received 8 adds.

This week’s other notable Hot AC options: A Great Big World’s “Oasis” (7 adds, 7th-most-added, tie), Alessia Cara’s “Here” (7 adds, 7th-most-added, tie), Demi Lovato’s “Confident” (4 adds, 9th-most-added, tie), Fall Out Boy’s “Irresistible (featuring Demi Lovato)” (4 adds, 9th-most-added, tie), For King & Country’s “Fix My Eyes” (4 adds, 9th-most-added, tie), Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand” (4 adds, 9th-most-added, tie), and Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” (4 adds, 9th-most-added, tie).
