Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” Stays #1 at Pop Radio; Shawn Mendes Hits #2

Taylor Swift and her “1989” tourmate Shawn Mendes claim the top two spots on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

Swift holds the top spot with single “Wildest Dreams.” The fifth “1989” single rules for a second week, this time courtesy the ~18,665 spins it received during the October 25-31 tracking week (-114).

Up two places, Mendes’ “Stitches” claims #2 on this week’s chart. It received ~17,272 plays within the official tracking week (+830).

The Weeknd’s “The Hills” (#3, = | ~17,091, -262), Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” (#4, -2 | ~16,761, -1,188), and Drake’s “Hotline Bling” (#5, +3 | ~11,356, +1,764) complete the top five.

“Hotline Bling” is making its first appearance within that region.
