Alessia Cara’s “Here” Earns Gold Certification in the United States

Alessia Cara [Paradigm]

Alessia Cara’s breakthrough single “Here,” which continues to rise on the sales and airplay charts, has earned its first RIAA certification.

“Here” has been officially certified gold under the RIAA’s digital singles program, confirms Def Jam.

The gold certification confirms a US unit total in excess of 500,000. One unit is equivalent to one paid download (sale) or 100 streams.

According to Nielsen Music, “Here” boasted a pure sales total of 301,262 US copies at the conclusion of the October 2-8 tracking week.

Featured on Cara’s “Four Pink Walls” EP (and to be featured on her debut LP “Know-It-All”), “Here” is currently a Top 20 hit on the Mediabase pop and rhythmic airplay charts. It is #21 at urban radio.
