One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” Going Top 10 at Pop Radio

One Direction - Corden - CBS

One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” is poised to move up — and into the Top 10 — on this week’s edition of the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The lead “Made In The AM” single received 5,361 pop plays during the first four days of the October 4-10 tracking week. Up 5.7% from last week’s mark, the count earns “Drag Me Down” the #10 position on Mediabase’s building chart.

Absent an imminent threat from below, “Drag Me Down” will have no trouble retaining its position over the tracking week’s final three days. It may, in fact, be able to leapfrog Major Lazer’s declining “Lean On,” which holds the #9 spot on the building chart.

“Drag Me Down” was #11 on last week’s official Mediabase airplay chart.
