Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” Going Top 10 at Hot AC, Top 25 at Pop

“Like I’m Gonna Lose You (featuring John Legend),” which this week became Meghan Trainor’s fourth Top 40 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100, is also making upward moves at two key radio formats.

The ballad is poised to reach the Top 10 at hot adult contemporary radio and Top 25 at pop radio.

According to Mediabase, “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” received 2,204 Hot AC spins during the first four days of the October 4-10 tracking week. Up 6.6% from the previous week’s mark, the tally positions Trainor’s song at #10 on the Mediabase Building chart.

Its position will not come under fire during the final three days of the tracking period.

The song, meanwhile, received 1,817 pop plays during the aforementioned four days. That bests last week’s mark by a healthy 12.2% and earns “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” #25 on the building chart.

That position, too, will be safe over the tracking week’s final three days; with Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” and Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” scheduled to go recurrent (and thus be removed from the active chart), it will actually improve by the time Mediabase publishes its official weekly airplay chart.

“Like I’m Gonna Lose You” held the #11 position on last week’s Hot AC chart and #26 spot on last week’s pop listing.
