Halsey’s “New Americana” Reaches Alternative Radio’s Top 20

Halsey [Astralwerks]

As her debut album “Badlands” begins to make waves within the music marketplace, Halsey’s “New Americana” reaches the Top 20 at alternative radio.

The song received ~815 plays during the August 23-29 tracking week. While that bests last week’s spin count by only 7 plays, it still facilitates a one-place rise to #20 on this week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart.

“New Americana” is the only addition to this week’s Top 20.

On pace to sell 85-90,000 copies in its first week, the aforementioned “Badlands” will debut as the week’s #2 album (barring a surprise, high-profile VMA release). It received ample praise in Headline Planet’s review.
