Shinedown’s “Cut the Cord” Reclaims #1 at Active Rock Radio

Shinedown [Atlantic]

Disturbed’s “Immortalized” is on pace to claim #1 on the weekly album sales chart.

“The Vengeful One,” its lead single, is unfortunately no longer the #1 song on Mediabase’s active rock radio chart.

Shinedown’s “Cut the Cord,” from which the Disturbed song seized the throne last week, returns to the chart’s apex this week.

“Cord,” which previously enjoyed three weeks on top, earns a fourth courtesy its 2,151 tracking week plays (+54). “The Vengeful One” received 2,067 spins during the August 16-22 tracking period (-58).

Pop Evil’s “Footsteps” (#3, = | 1,843, +40), Five Finger Death Punch’s “Jekyll and Hyde” (#4, = | 1,699, +37) and Highly Suspect’s “Lydia” (#5, = | 1,688, +50) again form the balance of the Top 5.
