Shawn Mendes, Jason Derulo, Jess Glynne Reach Hot AC Radio’s Top 50

Already a Top 25 entry at pop radio, Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” is beginning to gain ground at the hot adult contemporary format.

Spun 228 times during the August 16-22 tracking week (+87), it ranks as the Mediabase Hot AC panel’s #43 song this week. It was positioned at #55 in the previous tracking week.

Jason Derulo’s “Cheyenne,” which reached the Top 60 last week, also advances into the Top 50 this week. It rises twelve places to #44 on the strength of 205 tracking week spins (+70).

Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand,” which also made an inaugural Top 60 appearance, enters this week’s Top 50. Up seven places, it claims #46 on the strength of 182 weekly plays (+40).

While not new to the Top 50, Robert DeLong’s “Long Way Down” (#45, +7) and Skrillex & Diplo’s “Where Are U Now (with Justin Bieber)” re-enter this week (#50, +7).
