Ratings: “Masters of Sex,” “Ray Donovan” Reach Season Highs in Viewership

Sunday was a good night for Showtime’s dramas. Both “Masters of Sex” and “Ray Donovan” posted season highs in total viewership.

Airing in its usual 10PM timeslot, “Masters” posted a 0.17 adults 18-49 rating with 734,000 total viewers. Both numbers top those of the previous episode, which scored a 0.15 with 552,000 viewers.

The viewership total, which is of immense relevance to a subscription-oriented network like Showtime, was by far a season high. Prior to this week’s broadcast, no third season episode had drawn an audience of greater than 585,00.

Lead-in “Ray Donovan” also set a new season high in viewers.

Sunday’s episode drew a 0.54 A18-49 rating with 1.614 million total viewers. The season’s previous viewership high was 1.442 million.

Last week’s “Donovan” drew a 0.44 with 1.322 million total viewers.
