Lana Del Rey’s “High By The Beach” Actually Debuted With 67K Sales, Earns #51 on Hot 100

If the claim that Lana Del Rey’s “High By The Beach” sold 248,000 copies during its abbreviated first week of release seemed too good to be true, it is because it was.

While “High” posted a solid sales figure during the August 7-13 tracking week, the total was a far cry from 248,000.

Nielsen Music confirms that the single actually shifted 67,000 copies during that tracking week.

Based on the revised sales total, “High By The Beach” debuts at #51 — not #7 — on this week’s all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” actually ranks as the Hot 100’s #7 song. His “My Way (featuring Monty)” follows at #8, while Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood (featuring Kendrick Lamar)” claims #9.

Selena Gomez’ “Good For You” returns to the Top 10 at #10.
