Ratings: MTV’s “Scream” Once Again Loses Viewers

The viewership bleed continues for MTV’s “Scream.”

This week’s episode, which was the adaptation’s seventh broadcast, drew a 0.30 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.43 adults 18-34 rating and only 639,000 total viewers.

The numbers trail those of last week’s episode, which scored a 0.33 in A18-49, a 0.47 in A18-3 and 684,000 total viewers. The adults 18-34 and viewership tallies also rank as new lows for the freshman series.

Despite its unimpressive live+same-day numbers — only the premiere topped 1 million total viewers, and the series has not fared particularly well with adults 18-49, adults 18-34 or people 12-34 — “Scream” has already received a second season renewal from MTV.
