Ratings: “Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!” Falls from “Sharknado 2”

Enthusiasm over the third “Sharknado” movie was not as significant as that for “Sharknado 2: The Second One.”

Wednesday’s “Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!” premiere drew a 0.87 adults 18-49 rating with 2.814 million viewers. Both numbers trail those of last week’s movie, which scored a 1.29 and reached 3.870 million viewers.

It nonetheless considerably outperformed the first movie, which posted a mere 0.4 adults 18-49 rating and reached only 1.369 million viewers.

It also performed very well by SyFy standards. And insofar as it generated 2 billion Twitter impressions, it was far from an invisible affair.
