Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” Hits #15 on Hot 100; Sales Up 65%

Eagerly anticipated, the video for Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” finally arrived last week. It generated instant–and immense–buzz for its visual content.

It also ignited a surge of streaming interest, and the result is a huge gain on the latest Billboard Hot 100.

“BBHMM” rockets to #15 on this week’s edition of the chart. Thirteen places better than last week’s mark, it represents a new high for the song.

While increased streaming played the clearest role in the song’s rise, the song also experienced a healthy uptick in sales. Aided by the video release, “Bitch Better Have My Money” moved 42.7K copies during the June 29-July 5 tracking week. That represents a week-over-week gain of 65%.

To date, “BBHMM” has sold 735.1K US copies.
