While its most notable early success has come at pop and rhythmic radio, The Weeknd’s surefire smash “Can’t Feel My Face” is beginning to make moves at the hot adult contemporary format.

The song rockets into the Top 50 on this week’s Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart.

Spun 361 times during the June 14-20 tracking week (+324), the song surges forty three places to #41 on the official chart. It will surely reach the Top 40 in time for next week’s listing.

“Can’t Feel My Face” is one of two additions to the weekly Hot AC Top 50.

Charlie Puth’s “Marvin Gaye (featuring Meghan Trainor),” the other, also enjoys a sizable gain. The song jumps fourteen places to a new high of #44 on this week’s chart. It received 256 (+143) tracking week spins.
