Kaya Stewart, Silento, Charlie Puth Enter the Top 50 at Pop Radio

Kaya Stewart [WBR]

Added by a record number of pop stations in conjunction with this week’s official impact, Kaya Stewart’s debut single “In Love With a Boy” is soaring up the Mediabase airplay chart.

Spun 982 times during the June 14-20 tracking week (+790), “Boy” rises twenty five places to a new high of #43 on the chart.

The song’s week-over-week spin gain of 790 ranks as the greatest for a song below the pop format’s Top 25. If “In Love With a Boy” can maintain a similar pace this coming week, it will easily reach the Top 40 in time for next week’s chart.

Already a strong streaming and sales performer, Silento’s “Watch Me” is beginning to make moves at radio. One of those moves includes a jump into the Top 50 of Mediabase’s pop airplay chart. Up seven places, “Watch Me” earns the #44 slot on the strength of its 708 (+370) tracking week spins.

Featured on Wiz Khalifa’s smash “See You Again,” Charlie Puth takes the lead on new single “Marvin Gaye (featuring Meghan Trainor).” The song this week reaches the #45 slot on Mediabase’s pop airplay chart.

Up eighteen places, the track received 680 spins (+448) during the most recent tracking week.

— While not new to the Top 50, Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” re-enters this week. The song rises eleven places to #49 on the strength of its 445 (+177) weekly spins.
