Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” Stays #1 at Hot AC, George Ezra Goes Top 5

Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” will eventually cede its hot adult contemporary airplay throne. It does not do so this week.

The band’s breakthrough, multi-format hit earns a sixth week atop the Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart. Spun ~6,970 times during the June 7-13 tracking week, the song once again holds off Andy Grammer’s surging “Honey, I’m Good” (~6,686, #2).

Also in the weekly Top 5 are Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” (#3, ~5,733), Maroon 5’s “Sugar” (#4, ~5,174) and George Ezra’s “Budapest” (#5, ~5,058).

Up one place from last week’s position, “Budapest” makes its first appearance in the format’s Top 5.
